You seem to be concentrating on the symptoms, rather than the cause ie:ġ) what version of Windows 7 was installed ? - mine was Windows 7 Professional FULL version Ģ) what installation options were used ? - I used the 'Custom (advanced)' option, with no further parameters selected (default install) ģ) what was the previous system ? - mine was dual-boot with XP Pro on C drive/Win 7 Ultimate RC7100 on D drive. Consider reducing the IO load on the system or choose a shadow copy storage volume that is not being shadow copied.' (Vista/Window 7 has the same interference problem as Xp/Vista) I have Windows 7 Protection ON, Vista Protection OFF (which probably makes no difference). Moreover, there does not seem to be any way to 'choose a shadow copy storage volume'. But it doesn't make much sense (typical).
